Brent D. Krause   B.A.LLB

I was born in Saskatoon and moved to Calgary in 1980. I completed my primary schooling in Calgary, attended the University of Calgary and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Law and Society, accompanied by a world studies requirement in Asian Studies. After serving with the 14th Service Battalion Military Police platoon and working as an employee relations and process prime with Nortel, I decided to further my education. I attened the University of Alberta in Edmonton and graduated with my Law Degree (Bachelor of Laws-LL.B) in 1999.

I was a volunteer with Student Legal Service at the University of Alberta, with the Southland Community Operated Police Station (C.O.P.S.) in Calgary, and an English tutor for Korean students at the U of A and for the Thai staff at Tilleke & Gibbons. I am now a member of the Canadian Bar Association Intellectual Property and Information Technology and Taxation non-specialist subsections, the Calgary Chamber of Commerce, the Calgary Council for Advanced Technology, the Licensing Executive Society, Partners In Technology and the TBL Napkin (Technology network group).
